Just For Fun

Image
We like to jump on our trampoline everyday. Today the clouds were so beautiful as the wind was blowing a storm in. We were also feeling a little crazy! We were having way too much fun! Who cares if I'm six months pregnant and giving my kids horsey and Superman rides on the tramp? (Oh, maybe my Doctor. Don't tell her). We came inside after this picture. It's about to rain!

President Hinckley

What a sweet reunion he must have had with his Marjorie! Thanks for your wonderful leadership!

Katelin Adair

Image
My last two posts were about my two boys. Now I want to talk about my Katiebug. She is such a joy in my life! She can be the most sweet, caring, helpful little girl. She is very thoughtful and is constantly wanting to do things or make things for other people. She also can be moody and demanding. That is why I love her! Plus, who can resist posting pictures as cute as these?

Kye C

Here are little Kye's three-year pictures. (I think we named him appropriately :)

My Best Friend

Image
I got tagged to talk about my Kye. He is tall, dark and handsome. He is awesome He is hard working, fun loving and exciting. We share all chores around the house. There is no him/her chores. We do everything together inside and outside of the house. He cleans up dinner every night if I cook and vise-versa. He loves to go out and have an adventure. He doesn't play video games and doesn't sit in front of the TV until everything that needs to be done is done. This is rare. He doesn't like not doing something. He always has to be busy. He loves to study. He would be a full time student if I let him. He does most of the work getting the kids ready for church. He likes to smell everything...even his socks when he takes them off. He watches Jane Austen movies with me. (Yes, it's true. He even likes some of them). He has a wonderful singing voice. He occasionally will share it with me. He doesn't like to lose when we play games. He loves children...and they love him. He tru...

A Tender Mercy

Image
Without going into detail, today was a no good very bad day. (I guess I will say it started @ 3:00 AM when Katelin peed all over everything on our bed.) Around 5 O'clock I was concocting something on the stove for dinner and Katelin was making one of her many, daily crafts. She walked up to me, handed me this bracelet and said, "Mommy, I made this for you to thank you for making me a delicious dinner every night. I love you so much." I leaned down and gave her a big hug. She patted me on the back like her daddy does. I cried. Thank you Heavenly Father for reminding me that I do make a difference, especially on days when I feel like I don't.

KC Turns Three!

Image
KC turned three on the 31st. He has been asking for months to have a Frosty The Snowman birthday cake. He loved it and we had fun. We missed those Pecks though (they were in ID). Who doesn't like to lick their cake? Here's the party crew. KC thinks he is Batman now. Here's a look back to his first and second birthdays. Kids grow up so fast!!

Tubin' Fun!

Image
A group of us went sledding while in UT. It was so fun! KC was smiling and giggling the whole time. He went off the huge hills with his dad and Grandma while screaming with glee. I am sure we all enjoyed it just as much! It was so fun.

I have added the Nordfelt Family 2007 Christmas letter (100% created by Kye) to the blog. Click on it and enjoy.

The Christmas Family Photos

Image
We tried to take our own pictures for Christmas with the tri-pod because we waited until the last minute. It's hard when Katelin HATES getting more than one picture taken. I forgot about that. Here is the best one of all four of us. Katelin is crying because she was squished. She wouldn't look at the camera after the first two I took just of her, so I had to follow her around and snap what I could. KC is a good for the camera. He just likes to move while shooting. A lucky shot of Katelin. We wanted Saguaros in the background, but we couldn't get a good one with just the tripod, and it started to rain. We were ready to go home.

It's Elvis Baby!

Kye competed in "The Last Talent Standing" competition for Maricopa County. He walked in with a suit and a note written on his brief case that said, "Auditor by day". Then he turned the brief case around and it said, "Auditor by night". Then he took off his jacket, tie, turned up his collar and put on the Elvis glasses. He was a hit! We'll find out who the top six contestants are in a week or two. (Sorry for the loud hollar, I forgot I was filming!) Go Kye!

Oh BOY!

Image
It's true! Another boy! Here is his sweet little face. Before she took this photo, he was chewing and then he stuck out his tongue at us. I think it was because we all thought he was a girl! We hope this doesn't offend anyone!

Lights at the Mesa Temple

Image
The lights at the Mesa temple are so beautiful! The pictures don't look really great, but we had to post some of them. It was a Kodak moment looking at Christmas lights wearing flip-flops and short sleeves. (The people in sweaters and coats thought we were crazy!) Here I am with Kye and my two mini Kye's. Let's hope this next little boy has some of me in him! As soon as KC saw the camel (behind us) he jumped over the signs that say "Don't not walk on the grass" and ran to touch the camel. He was a crazy boy. Katelin requested I take this picture of her and New Bear. Very cute. KC kept trying to jump in the water and go swimming-he was soaking wet! I love the Christmas lights in the palm trees.
