White Tank Waterfall Hike

Image
On Saturday Kye took the kids to the White Tank Mountains and went for a little hike. It was a fun activity for the kids to do with their dad. They had a lot of fun. Kye ran into his old friend Darren from Heber City on the trail. What were the odds of that? I stayed home and went to the baptism for one of my primary kids. The baptism was really neat. I was glad to have been there. The weather is beautiful here and we have been very happy. I don't sleep much because this child growing inside of me is quite the acrobat. Never before have I experienced a child this active in the womb. It will be interesting to see his personality. He will be here before we know it!

Conjunctivitis

This is my first experience with pink eye ever. Thanks to the advice of my sis-in-law, I was able to call the nurse and tell them to call in an RX for me without having to go to insta-care. That would have made for an interesting day.

Why I Love Teaching Preschool

Image
Nothing is more exciting to me than seeing children get excited about an art project. I love the look on their faces when they are concentrating and really trying to do their best. I love the look on their faces when they finish! This week in preschool we are working with the letter 'R'. Our art project was a rainbow. Here are Katelin and KC's rainbows. They just bring a smile to my face, so I thought I would share. Katelin's Rainbow. She has proudly hung it up in the window for all to see. KC's Rainbow He says it's "funny".

Jock Strap and Salt

Kye likes to celebrate Valentine's Week instead of Valentine's Day. On Friday he takes me on this date to Wal-Mart. We have ten minutes to each find an item, under five bucks, that represents our relationship or one of us in the relationship. The person with the best object won the prize of picking the flavor for the smoothie we ate afterward. I picked salt. My institute teacher at SUU told me once that comparing someone to salt is a huge compliment. So Kye is like salt. He makes everything better, he keeps me from slipping, and he helps preserve our marriage. Kye picked a jock strap. He says I hold the marriage together. Who do you think won?

The Kelly Belly

Image
Here's the belly at 28 weeks. I am feeling pretty good. The baby boy is high and that is a relief to the vericose veins that I got from carrying KC so low. On the other side, it's not good for the strech marks I have from carrying Katelin high. I have a feeling that I might get them up to my neck. But hey, it's worth it...bring it on! I am due May 1st, but if you were to ask me in person I will tell you I am due at the end of April. Doesn't that sound a lot sooner to you too? (Plus, my babies have been early, so I am hoping for that again). We keep super busy around here, and so the time just flies! I can't believe pretty soon I will be able to hold my little baby "K" and start the exciting life as a mother of THREE!
