I am not kidding when I tell you that we are being invaded by lizards! The first one we saw was a couple of days ago in the washing machine. Katelin spotted the second lizard in her room today after church. We put "Lizzie" in a jar for an hour, then it was time to set her free. We went in the backyard, and Lizzie thought Katelin was her mother. She didn't want to leave Katelin and crawled up right under her chin and hung out there. In fact, Katelin thought she gone when we left to our friends house for dinner. During the prayer, Lizzie popped back out of Katelin's shirt! That was scarey! Katelin loved every minute of it. It's been a year since the Kongaika's moved back to Hawaii (jerks...who wants to live on one of the most beautiful islands in the world?!) Anyway, there were a lot of emotions as we saw each other. The kids were so excited to see each other! They played and fought just like old times! Meilani and I chatted for hours like old times. She is my sister!

They love to run around in their animals towels together after their baths and sleep by each other at night (when Katelin wants him to). They have quite the bond. They also fight a lot more...interesting. Either way, I will keep them.

Every Friday night, from 6-9 PM the PHX Zoo is only $3 a person, and it has tons of childrens activities to do. There were water slides, splash pads, games, and several animals to see. Here are my Kyes looking at the turtles while we are waiting to get into the zoo. The kids loved jumping in this thing. If you look closely, you can see the baby Orangutan. It was born on January 27th! We'll call it baby Joyce! (it's my mom's birthday too) Also, Don't ask me why KC was touching my eyeball. We loved the lush palm trees everywhere. We had a ton of fun-next time we'll bring the kids swimsuits.

Katelin was dying to ride the carousel, and when she did it was the highlight of the evening! She rode a dragon, and KC rode the gorilla! KC almost starting crying when it started, but he toughened up. He's getting better at that.

It was a beautiful morning on June 7th, 2007. We had kept our windows open all night because of the cooler temperatures. I had actually had the chance to snuggle with a blanket part of the night! I woke up and felt a cool breeze swarming throughout the house! It was awesome! I took a picture of my indoor/outdoor thermometer so you all would believe me! It was 7:54 AM and it was only 71 degrees outside-75 degrees inside. It was heavenly! I miss UTAH! Katelin loved it so much that she got to put on her favorite outfit-LAYERS! She hasn't been able to do that in awhile. Now for the Red Fire Ants. If you look at Katelin's face (I've provided an up-close picture) Katelin got a little scratch right above her lip. She came to me, in tears because it was burning! When I asked her what happened, she said, "It was a red fire ant! It crawled up onto my nose and bit me!" "It climbed all the way up onto your face and bit you?" I asked. "Well,...

Kye and Katelin had a great time making a volcano for a Sunday activity. It was fun to paint it and then watch it explode. Katelin took great pride in this activity! Good times!

I just love the lighting that comes through the windows during breakfast, even if we're all not as excited as we should be.

These two just love to take a shower and hide in our closet. They have become a lot closer since we moved.

KC had a long day in the sun. He sat like this for 20 minutes Even a queen sized bed isn't big enough for this princess! She has always been a crazy sleeper. It's too funny. We woke up from our naps and found this! Katelin actually feel asleep! She loves to read books and make a mess of her room while doing it. This is a little pool we got for our backyard. This is KC running through some poles squirting out water at the community park by us. He actually likes the water now, and runs through it himself! It is a miracle! We are adjusting slowly but surely. The heat wears us out pretty quick, but it's a great excuse to play in the community water parks. It was only 100 degrees today, so it wasn't too hot. It feels great to feel cold when we are wet and the wind is blowing on us. I had goosebumps today from the chill and I was loving every minute of it! So you Utaha...
