Thankgiving in Utah

Thanksgiving with the Nordfelt's is always so fun! After feeding 84 people dinner, we had racing games and a licorice spitting contest. There isn't a picture of the spitting contest, but I won the female contest. Kye tied for the boys. We were both very proud of each other.
We were not proud of our son who ran out and ate all the licorice off the floor that everyone spit out.

Kye didn't mean to, but he hit Kelly Springer thinking it was Andy, then Ben saw we were in front of him, so he grabbed onto Kye's leg trying to take us down!


Both my in-laws won races, so they had a race off! Keysha and Chad won because Kirtly and Gay fell down!

OH Kelly that looks like such a fun tradition. I am totally laughing about KC eating the licorice off the floor. That would totally be my child. The three leggeed race hilarious. YOur great i cant believe the 12 hour drive yuck. At least your kids are older. IS KC potty trained yet.

How fun! Wish we did fun stuff like that! I was looking at all the pictures... and noticed how long KC's legs look on Santa's lap. He really is Kye's mini me! How are you feeling?

How much fun was that! The Nordfelts sure know how to have a 'rock'n' Thanksgiving! So, the whole licorice thing...Carsen was eating one too. Those two boys were into mischief the entire time we were there (inside the building and out!)

So, how are you related to the Springers? I grew up with Leesha (burton) Springer. I remember her and Ben's wedding. They are hilarious. Looks like fun!

This looks like so much fun! I'm also proud to say that I am a decent spitter. That is kind of gross about KC though, yuck! It looks like those races got pretty serious, you guys look great though! Wish we could have seen each other :(

Soooo fun Kelly. I too laughed when I heard that KC ate the licorice. I just wished you got a picture of that. I like your bangs girl, you look great. I havent seen you on IM lately. I miss chattin.

What an eventful day! Here we go... BEFORE I being, I need to explain something. When I went to the Dr. on Thursday I was 37 weeks. She told me that 37 weeks is full term. The baby had also dropped. Stripping the membranes isn't inducing because the baby won't come if it is not ready. Also, she was expecting me to go into labor anytime, so it just made it convenient to have him come when Kye had work off and could be home. My contractions started to be painful around 7:00 am. Everyone was up. Katelin was laying by me on my bed being my nurse and holding my hand. So sweet. Kye was loading the car. Around 8:00 we had dropped the kids off at Crystals (LOVE you Crystal) and headed for the hospital. The longest ten miles of my life. I thought we were going to have a baby in the car. The Price Is Right 10/25/1999

Ten years ago this weekend, I went with my mom, sister, Rochelle Waite and Amber Bush to try to get on The Price is Right. I wasn't interested in really being on the show; so I lagged behind, didn't comb my hair, or take the time to do to much makeup. I would never get picked. Holy smokes, they called my name and the rest is history! Let me answer several questions right now: No, I didn't know what was going on. In fact, after everything happened, I had to sit down and fill out a bunch of paper work. I couldn't remember my address, how to spell my name, or recall what even just happened. It's Elvis Baby!

Kye competed in "The Last Talent Standing" competition for Maricopa County. He walked in with a suit and a note written on his brief case that said, "Auditor by day". Then he turned the brief case around and it said, "Auditor by night". Then he took off his jacket, tie, turned up his collar and put on the Elvis glasses. He was a hit!
