I am glad to see that people still look at this. I've added quite a few posts and will add more as they happen.

Supermen!

I found these shirts at Old Navy for $1.35! The boys couldn't be happier. Kanyon started running around the room and making flying noises. He is getting too big! KC loves his new strong tummy.

KC Birthday and New Years

Image
It's a tradition that Kye always has a donut ready for the kids to eat when they wake up on their birthday. This year he went for a small one because he is conscience of what the kids should be consuming and putting into their bodies.... Here is KC with his cousin Carsen. They are five days apart. This year they turned 5. Kirtly and Gay were up here and it is always fun to be with them. The kids love being with Pa and Gigi.

Haircut

Image
What do you do when you are trying to keep your kid off the carpet in case he pukes? You give him a haircut! Then you call your friend (Buffy in my case) and have her come over and fix what you did! It was a hard decision because as you can see, Kanyon does not grow any hair on the sides of his head. It is all on top and in the middle. We all have a good laugh about it. I think his little mohawk is cute and he doesn't have a mullet anymore. It's always hard to chop off the last of that baby hair.

Sick Baby!

Image
Kanyon was up puking all night. Kye and I took turns cleaning up the bed and cleaning up the baby. It was a long night. In my opinion there is nothing worse then holding your baby and he is retching because there is nothing more to throw up. Then when he is done, he turns into a limp little noodle. I found these two on the floor asleep at 10:30. After 45 minutes of this, he woke up and puked again. As soon as he was done, he started smiling, dancing, and giggling. It was the weirdest thing ever! I am just glad he is better!

We Had Fun!

Image
We went a cruise for Christmas with Kyes' family. We had a lot of fun. I don't like to blog very much lately. Enjoy this picture of all of us in Mazatlan. The two rocks behind us are called "poo-poo" rocks (They are white because of pelican poop. Nice huh.) The kids laughed about it all day.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

All Things Thrifty!

My friend that I met while in Cedar has this blog : and is doing an awesome give-away. I love this blog because they give AWESOME ideas on how to decorate thrifty. It inspires me to re-create and not buy new. Thanks Brooke and Kallie!

Better Late...

Image
I have to say that my mom comes down to school for almost everything that the kids do. It was Grandparents day at the first of October (I think) and she came down to eat lunch with Katelin. It is so nice to live close to her! Thanks for all the support mom!

Kanyon's Favorite Toys

Image
A meat thermometer and a cheese grater. Who wouldn't love putting a thermometer into all of those holes?!

Fun with Leaves

Image
How fun is it to throw leaves in the air and have them land on you? SO FUN! Katelin was having a ball and Kanyon...Well, he was not. He was a sick little boy.

Halloween Events

Image
Halloween this year was awesome! The Blackwell's, Daytons and ourselves-didn't I marry a dream?! (the Tuckers came after dinner) We set up my camera for the timer and it took 5 pictures in a row-so we were having a lot of fun playing with it. On time Kye thought he would be funny and jump in front. Classic. We played fun games and laughed until midnight. Our guts and mouths hurt by the end of the night. Here are the kids at school. It was so fun to see everyone dressed up! I loved that my mom and nephew Brady could come and see them in their costumes. Brady made everyone frigthened with his scarey grin! Here we are on Halloween night (well, not the one of KT. oh well, it's cute...) Kanyon loved his first night of trick-or-treating. Asking for candy was the greatest thing ever!

Kolob Canyon

Image
I had a blast spending the weekend alone with my parents. We had a great time laughing, reminiscing and just being silly. We drove to and from St. George with no radio just talking. On our way home, we stopped at Kolob Canyon. I hadn't been there since KT was born. Seriously, it's so beautiful! I know, I am such a poser!

Wedding In St. George

Image
I went to St. George with my parents for my cousin Julie's wedding. It was so wonderful!! I met cousins that I never knew and we bonded instantly! It was fun to spend the day with family. I learned a lot of new things about my dead grandparents-their personalities, hobbies, and funny stories. We also spent the night savoring old photographs I had never seen before. I have a new sense of where I came from. It was very fulfilling. Great Aunt Phyllis Leavitt, Joyce, Leann Lundgren Van Leavitt, mom, Phyllis Sisters: Megan, Kristen, Julie, Me and my cousin Emily Leavitt Papa and me mama and me Mama and papa The three amigos! Julie, me, Kristen. These two twinners were my little buddies growing up. I can't believe they are old enough to be married!!

The Price Is Right 10/25/1999

Ten years ago this weekend, I went with my mom, sister, Rochelle Waite and Amber Bush to try to get on The Price is Right. I wasn't interested in really being on the show; so I lagged behind, didn't comb my hair, or take the time to do to much makeup. I would never get picked. Holy smokes, they called my name and the rest is history! Let me answer several questions right now: No, I didn't know what was going on. In fact, after everything happened, I had to sit down and fill out a bunch of paper work. I couldn't remember my address, how to spell my name, or recall what even just happened. I remember thinking, "What did I just win"? Yes, I kissed Bob and he stinks like Halloween make-up...an inch thick. (Seriously) The wheel is not heavy. No, I didn't know I was going to be picked. I didn't get to keep the $500 cash. Someone came and took it from me because, "Bob uses the same bills for every show." They just took it off my taxes. No, it is not...

Linger Longer, Please!

Image
Fall, in my unbiased opinion, is the most beautiful time of year. The leaves are gorgeous and they only stay that way for about 3 weeks. Unfortunately we missed the "peak" while we were in California. However, we went up to Sundance anyway and rode the Scenic Lift to view the majestic scene. I have a feeling snow is right around the corner. Please let autumn linger a little longer. Kanyon fell and scratched his upper lip right before we got back on the lift.

Stop or Kanyon will shoot!

Image
KC picked out a Buzz Lightyear gun as a toy in Disneyland. When Kanyon took and refused to give it back, we decided we better buy two. (Here he is screaming his protest at the condo.) Now that we have two, we are wondering why we got any! (Imagine if you will, gun noises. That is what he is doing!)
