Thursday in D.C. ---- Part Two

We jumped off the bus by the White house. We couldn't get very close because the Obama's were coming or going. We had a lunch apt with old friends so we couldn't watch to see their vehicles pass by. It could have been an hour or more.

Lunch was delicious! I am now in love with Indian cuisine!

After lunch we headed to the Natural History Museum to see the Hope Diamond. Then we were off to the American History museum to spend a couple of hours. There is a lot going on in those museums! You can only handle so much. Around 4:30, it was time to go back. When we went outside, the wind was blowing so hard and it was cold! The news said there were wind gusts up to 65 MPH.

It was another terrific day!

Here we are waiting for our shuttle. We were so cold and the wind was crazy. It almost knocked the camera out of my hand.
